There is a bumper apple crop this year. The branches are drooping down along the roads, in old abandoned fields, in our farm orchard, in seemingly every backyard. Lots of folks around here are quite excited about it. Our neighbors have been helping us to gather some of them up, and once we have enough, a group of us will come together for a full day of community pressing…for those of us who long for the taste of true, raw, un-pasteurized cider.
