Errr…What’s cooking?
I have been allowing Ula more autonomy in the kitchen. But this is the scene I found on my counter this morning after she fixed her breakfast. Not sure what to make of it.
Now there are gonna be folks who will have a grand time with this, but for the most part it is doubtful that any of us could duplicate a child’s (serious, now) imagination! I have so much fun reading your posts, so I’ll take a crack (from the hammer?) at it! Which hammer could have been used to crack open an egg (s). Maybe the measuring spoons measured out flour/spices for pancakes/muffins/biscuits, or even plain old cereal! The colander would be used to sprinkle confectioner’s sugar, or some other garnish on top?
Gee, is this what I would do if these were the only tools I had to do it with? Too funny – I’m dying to know!
That she was busy doing something important, and breakfast interrupted that? I mean after all I’d rather paint a room than cook a chicken myself. Or,…she had nuts for breakfast?

Maybe she didn’t put the tools away, but she disposed of the nut hulls, that’s a good start!
