Even I am beginning to doubt we will ever make that first gallon of syrup this year. We got the evaporator fired up one day last weekend, and then the temperatures plummeted once more, freezing all the sap in our tanks. We’ve been at a stand still ever since. Let’s hope today’s sun will help things to flow a bit…
