For a long time, Bob and I have dreamt of going walking in Ireland.
You probably know this story:
We never thought we had enough money.
We never thought we had enough time.
And then a pandemic hit, and a raging flood nearly wiped out our store, and then a shooter put bullets in it. And then we got Bob’s cancer diagnosis.
While we were waiting to find out his prognosis, we sat in the woods, staring off into space and asked one question over and over:
Why the heck did we never book that trip to Ireland?
And we promised that, once we got to the other side of treatment, we would go.
So here we go. On a walk.
We’ll be back at the cafe on November 4th, and I can’t wait to tell you all about it.

Enjoy your walk, hold hands, laugh. I am thrilled for you.

Life is what happens when you’re making plans. So glad you disengaged and went forth on the walk. There really isn’t any time like now. I’m a newby to the Sap Bush universe but schooled in your world with Robin Van En, Indian Line Farm, Community Land Trust and the like here in MA. Friend David Cox shined a light on your projects. Hats off to you and all the best.
