All right. This Saturday is family farm day, when folks from all over come to visit our local farms, take tours, and sample our fare. So, since members of the broader public might be stopping by, Bob says I need to “tone it down” for this weekend. By that, he means I can’t put any livestock heads, feet or skin on the menu, as has been my inclination these past few weeks. So it’s time to put an old favorite back on the menu for the week:
Curried Chicken Salad
Sap Bush pastured chickens, raisins, cranberries and cashews on a bed of fresh greens
Corn bread
Fresh pie
Flavor to be determined by what’s looking good down at Bohringers (But I’m thinking peaches and blueberries…)
