Dad’s firing up the smoker for us for Saturday!  Don’t miss it!

And oh…I don’t know if you saw the New York Time’s piece on “Bar” desserts…But it TOTALLY turned my frown upside-down.  I’ve decided I’m going to cook my way through those dessert recipes for the specials this summer…Hold on to yer hat!  This Saturday the dessert will be Hello Dolly Bars….Remember these from your last great potluck????  I remember when Linda Cross used to bring them to 4-H and farmer meetings…And I couldn’t stop eating them!  I’m so excited to start cooking them!!!!!
