Thanksgiving is only 8 weeks away. We need your turkey orders!
Our birds are raised out on fresh pasture, and while Mother Nature typically makes the final decision about how large they’ll grow, we organize them (roughly) into three sizes:
Small (usually 15-18 lbs)
Medium (usually 19-23 lbs)
Large (usually over 23 lbs)
They are easier to cook than conventional birds (pop them into the oven for 8 minutes per pound at 325 degrees, unstuffed), and each year we post a video to take you through the steps of roasting your first turkey. I also operate the unofficial pasture-raised turkey hotline during the month of November, answering any questions you may have over email. We field turkey cooking questions from all over the nation. I’ve done this for 15 years now, and I’d like to think I’ve seen it all (but each year leaves me with a new surprise)!
So if you’ve never roasted a turkey before, we know what we’re growing, and we’ll make sure you know what you’re cooking. It will be easy-peasy.
