Dear Friends, Readers and Listeners;
Our family received devastating news this week as a result of Bob’s prostate biopsy. We are awaiting more tests to find out if it will be treatable. Meanwhile, we are stepping away from The Hearth of Sap Bush Hollow Podcast for a few weeks to allow ourselves some time to get our bearings. Please keep us in your thoughts & prayers.
The cafe will continue to be open Saturdays, 9-2.
Love, Shannon

Dear Shannon and Bob. Dan and I looked for you guys a few weeks ago at the Round Barn, how the past few years have changed us. I am so sorry to hear your news. You are in my prayers and I expect a positive outcome to a of this. Be well and keep us updated. Much love.
Shannon
Indeed, Paige. It is nice, in any event, to know we were missed! We are still operating the cafe up here in West Fulton. Once we understand the extent of what we face, we’ll figure out plans on how to continue. We have family and present and former employees circling around, ready to make a plan when we are.

My husband was diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer right before the pandemic. 12 biopsies, 100 percent positive in each. Treatment shut down with the pandemic and they pumped him full of hormones until things opened and he got radiation. It’s a scary process and hard on a farm business. He’s on the other side now, cancer in remission and recovering from the treatment. You and Bob and your family are in my thoughts.
Shannon
We are in that exact place, Talitha. Thank you for letting me know there is another side to this. I am going to share your story with Bob this morning, as we are headed in for his PET scan.

So sorry to hear about this health struggle. But, trust in the science — they can do sooo much! and fight like hell to get what he needs!
Best wishes, the Pachecos
