Dear Friends;
Winter is upon us: the espresso machine is shut down, the fridge unplugged, the harvest in the freezers. We’re moving slowly around the animals and each other, taking time to savor all the best things this season has to offer: stunning light upon the bare trees, falling snow, coffee in the woods, sledding and skiing adventures, piling our beds full of dogs and cats, sipping whiskey by the fire, lingering around the dinner table, playing music, knitting and sewing, and lots and lots of dreaming and scheming.
We love what we do, and we love that we have this time to breathe deeply and dream more vividly. We love that you’ve come forward to help us make this path a viable one, so full of warmth and conviviality that our children relish walking it with us. We are here today because of you, and we wish you all the joys of the season that your kind hearts can sponge up. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for the role you play in our lives.
The Honor Store remains open and stocked. It’s in the little red shed at the back of the cafe parking lot. The online farm store has all our current stock available for you to peruse from the warmth of your own hearth. As always, we’ll pull orders every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and move them to the Honor Store for pick up. Deadline for weekend orders is 5pm Thursday. The cafe will re-open in April.
Happy Holidays, Happy New Year, Happy Winter!
